Incomplete Forever

Go on and do appreciate if you like it.. 🙂
Happy Reading!! 🙂

Thoughts of Words

The eve of Sunday moving slowly towards the night.

The Azaan from a distance can be heard as the sound of a passing train.

The mind is in search of a thought that it can muse,–

while, the soul is in the mood of sitting back and enjoy the eve.

There is a serenity, there is quietude, there is this loneliness.

The eve of Sunday moving slowly towards the night.

The chime of temple bell, that jiggles by the devotees, resonate with–

the sound of the gapped traffic.

The mind is swimming vagabondly, trying to get hold on to a driftwood,–

while, the soul is disturbed by the ripple created by this errant sail through.

There is a calmness, there is solace, there is this solitude.

The eve traffic with muffled noise of entertainment from neighbor jiggling in ‘ween.

Racists are stupid – spoiler alerts You’ve been warned! I didn’t think I would read this post word for word, but I read the entire thing, laughed out loud severally and shook my head in the obvious lack of common sense displayed by people who lay claims to high  IQ. Enjoy reading.

There are none so blind A calm, wise post, to say the least, in face of the way we live today with political rage, paranoia, conspiracy theories and what not.

Waiting for her to pick us up,

As she used to many seasons ago,

The memories of those playful times still fresh,

Dressed in her pretty frock and sweet smile,

Her tiny hands cuddling us fondly,

Sleeping beside her pink pillow

Under the dimly lit night lamp,

Sharing her world of dreams and emotions,

Alas, now lost in oblivion,

Sitting quiet and gathering dust,

We wait for that little best friend of ours,

Who is now all grown up and long forgotten us!

The year seemed long,
But was so short.
Was filled with song,
And wholesome sport.

A love was born,
To longtime friends.
The roots were strong,
Supple limbs that bend.

A time for joy,
A time to nourish.
So girl and boy,
Could truly flourish.

The time that was
The time that is
The time that will be
Just you and me.

The Time That Was

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
tanka tales
for you my sweet love
no regrets
~~~~
have we forgot time
the time that was when we loved
a country walk us
together memories made
a son two daughters much loved
~~~~
the time that was ours
altercations end in bed
shh no more listen
have we forgot time that was
gazing counting shooting stars
~~~~
have we forgot time
how love endured rough and smooth
hate played not a part
if we could walk we ran half way
nature was our guide to life
~~~~
memories now past
have we forgot time eyes wide
looking back no void
life was lived to its fullest
you me aged holding on
My Green Journey
This poem by Dilip is a beautifully imagined piece of poetry. Read on… 🙂
Orange - Dilip
challenge
I saunter past thy green grove, with my shoes of leather
I watch white head crow caw, flappin’ its black feather
my chick-let gums stuck rather
deep in my Wooden Calcium stone corner
warp in my rose suave food road, brother
I whiff worn-torn Yella flower
rapped by a gang of blue band bees – oh Mother!
I speak smoke, in cold weather
there ain’t nobody to tether
A brown warm worm dig deep in musky clay
gape at me, with his chest full of black mud spray
I blow him with my stinky mint puff, eh!
he veil a sprig which shine grey;
I brush my Orange round necky-belly covering, say
T-shirt– erupts a sneeze of doom
make my pitch black moustache alignment lose its way
Ginger God, It’s freezing for the month of May
I perceive the sun through a prism of dewdrop, still on its stay
Scatter…
