POETRY CHALLENGE#3: 27 November-10 December

Here we are yet again- the last Sunday of the month!

It’s the third Challenge so let’s bring in a something new..Look at the picture below and draw out a poem of your own words!

P.S.:This picture was taken by me in Shimla, India.

Even if you have never written a poem, try it..just 10 lines…you can definately do that much!! I am actually looking forward to the first timers!!

You may also reblog this post to spread the word, inviting more and more poems!!

Just For You, Girls!

As tired I slept
I dreamt in bed
Verisimilitude it felt!

I felt a watery bed
And anxiety made me check
And there I woke to a new day with my womanhood spread!

Blots of red paint
So I wished
But there I stood with mess to clean..

All clothes hung
And I looked like a drunk
Despite a hot shower
And the paddings power..

Many prefer a break
From the day
But I went on
As it’s no reason to halt..

Girlies out there
Be bold and cheer
This is not a time to tear..

We are born unique..
“Why we?” Shouldn’t be our pick..

Go on, live strong
This prepares you to survive for long..

For we are the drivers of change which is yet to come
For we are that plant where the buds bloom and sway!

Amidst The Hills!

Amidst the mighty hills I stood,
Hills and mountains with their hoods..
Canopy of trees around,
I shout out for a new sound!

Feeling the vibes that surrounds:
The strength of the mounds
The Joy in the waving leaves
The blue sky that finally weaves!

The freedom of the flying birds,
Liberate me more from the herds..
I walk, I stroll
And I see the animals roll!

The patience of the static nature,
The perseverance is the real feature..
The atmosphere around doesn’t let me stay awake,
The hills represent a lot more than I could take!

We see the hard surface
Not the reasons as we race..
The rough life is not only ours,
The very nature also bears the Showers!

Amidst the mighty hills I stood,
